Stratos is known as one of the great pearls of the functionalist architectural styles in Oslo, and is one of the city´s most popular conference and banqueting venues.
From its location on the 12th floor of the Folketeateret building, the venue towers over the buzzling life of Oslo. Some of Oslo’s main landmarks, such as Oslo S, Oslo Plaza, and Karl Johan, are all just a stone throw way. With small touches the venue can easily transform from a daytime conference, to a candle lit dinner setting, to a nightclub lounge. This, in addition to its private and undisturbed location on the top of Youngstorvet, makes this venue extremely versatile. Stratos has a license until 03.00 – this also includes the terrace.

During the summer Stratos ceases to be a hire venue and opens as a summer bar and nightclub. Our guests can enjoy delicious summer cocktails, fantastic DJs and live entertainment, as well as other exciting offers that you will be able to read about here. People love Stratos in the summer, and come back year after year to enjoy an ice cold beer in the sun out on the roof terrace, listen to their favorite bands, and to dance the night away to the sounds of some of the best Norwegian and International DJs around.
